2007-11-27 (Tuesday) Workshop Series Meeting #2/3-4 (Development and Finalization of 3 Alternatives)

Link to Board Meeting of 2007-11-27

The documents provided below are the final Land Use and Transportation Alternatives for Butte County General Plan 2030 as approved by the Board of Supervisors on November 27, 2007.   These files represent the work products for Meeting Series #2/3 Alternatives Development and were shaped from input received from the public, the Citizens Advisory Committee, the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors.  The three Land Use Alternative Maps and the Bike and Roadway Alternative Maps should be viewed in connection with the Alternatives Description document, which provides narrative descriptions for these exhibits.  The Policy Alternatives Document is still being finalized at this time and will be posted as soon as possible.

The final alternatives are being evaluated against many different criteria at this time (Implications to such areas as fiscal impacts, water resources, biological resources, public services, safety/hazards, cultural resources, wastewater infrastructure, agriculture, and transportation) in anticipation of the beginning of Meeting Series #4, during which the public, Citizens Advisory Committee, Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors will act to shape and choose the Final Preferred Alternative for Butte County General Plan 2030.  A public Workshop will kick-off Meeting Series #4 on March 27, 2008.

Please look for further information on this workshop and other meetings on this website in the days to come.
